Introduction From Our Interim Principal
I would like to take the time to introduce myself as the new Interim Principal of Lipson. I am delighted to have the opportunity, following the departure of Mrs Budd at Easter to come and work with and support the staff and students here. I have worked as a Headteacher in Nottingham and then in Somerset and Devon and am looking forward to using some of that experience to help provide our students with the very best education possible.
I met with all the students on Tuesday and was extremely impressed not only with their general attitude but also with the fact that they are very proud of their school. My role is quite simple, it is to do everything I can to enable the teachers here to teach to the very best of their ability so that our students can learn to the best of theirs and achieve their true potential. I am looking forward to meeting with and hearing from many of you in the coming months. Your continued support is really important to us as we will strive to build on the areas of strength that the school clearly already has whilst at the same time trying to make some things even better.
I look forward to working with you for the good of our students. Thank you in advance,
